End of School Year Celebration

As our first homeschooling year came to an end, I decide to celebrate so that the family could share some memorable moments. The celebration was on July 7th. Although it was very low key and low budget, I still had to do quite a bit (to me) planning and shopping. Below is the round-up of our party:

Who:           Dad, mom, and the kids
Where:         Home. Back and front yard to be precise
Decoration:  Banner and swirls
Food/drink:  Pizza and pink lemonade
Game:          Pinata, party popper, and ballons

Oh, we have yearbooks too! I had considered scrap-booking but it was too ambitious an undertaking due to my utter lack of crafty ideas and skills. Thanks to Costco' photo book service, I was able to make our own personalized yearbooks. They are not that expensive especially after coupon, and they are truly one of a kind. I did spend hours plowing through all the photos, selecting, and arranging/re-arranging.
