Our Family Educational Philosophy

We choose to homeschool because we want our children to have a close relationship with us parents and have a personal relationship with the Lord.

The goal of our homeschool is to train the children in the ways of the Lord:
1)      to shape their hearts to live for God that they will know the Lord Jesus intimately, love and obey the Word of God, and develop godly characters;
2)      to train their minds to learn for God that they will develop a love for learning, cultivate beneficial habits, and learn to reason/think biblically;
3)      to train their bodies to honor God that they will live a self-disciplined life, have good manners, and learn useful life skills.

We need to build the Word of God in our family, allowing the Word have preeminence in all parts of family life including the instructions in all school subjects and the responsibilities in and outside our home.

Our mission as parent educators is to train each of our children as God has uniquely created and predestined him to be--future servant leaders in their homes and communities for God's Kingdom in the next generation.

Drafted on June 12, 2011, when Daniel and James were at Mega Summer Camp in the morning.
