Hailstorm, hailstorm!

Time, between 5:45pm  to 6 pm. I was preparing dinner in the kitchen. Daniel and James were watching "Man vs. Wild" on TV. I thought that I heard thunder. "Daniel, pause Roku, I heard thunder." We were all silent for a few seconds. Didn't hear anything. Kids went back to Roku. I went back to the stove.

Then rain came down. Noise. Loud noise. Louder and louder. "Hail!! Daniel, come look!" Within seconds, the table in our backyard and backyard ground were covered with white hail stones. Hail stones kept pouring down. Children got excited. Me too. Daniel, being Daniel, eager to go out. I approved. Got him a hat and daddy's shoes. Off he went to backyard. Oh boy, was he having fun! Picking up hail stones, shoveling hail stones, and running in hail showers. James, being James, stayed inside, and yelled "Daniel, come back!"

I don't know how long the hailstorm lasted. 5 minutes? 7 minutes? Daniel finally came back, with a container full of hail stones. "Mom, put it in the freezer!" I sample the hailstones and put it in the freezer.

6:15 pm. Guibo went home. With excitement, the boys told daddy about the thunder and the hailstorm. While Guibo wast out in side yard cleaning the gutter, Daniel and James went out playing with the hailstones on the ground. There was quite an accumulation.

8:10 pm. Bible reading time. I selected several passages containing hailstorm or hail stones to read. Oh, the power of our all mighty God! How awesome!
